An abundance of star shaped white flowers often flushed pink appear through spring on red stems with lobed leaves.
The flowers produce nectar which is a vital food source for pollenating insects and bumble bees and will carpet for over a period of years.
Plant in areas under trees, shady areas of the garden, woodlands and semi shaded or open grassland.
