Anemone blanda is also known as the winter windflower, the bulbs if left alone will naturalise freely creating a dense display of daisy like blooms in early spring, ideally, they are best soaked overnight prior to planting and planted in woodland settings, under trees, around deciduous plants and in amongst other perennials or in partially shaded or open areas of the garden.
